1. Information stored on your device

Moon Mice stores preferences and game records on your device to make the app work, including:

• Music choice, volume, and sound settings.
• Selected cosmetic styles and other app preferences.
• Completed-match statistics, such as solo wins and losses, streaks, cheese delivered, and local Amber/Lilac team totals.

These records are not uploaded to an Imagination Works server. Local multiplayer statistics refer to team colors, not individual usernames or online player profiles. The app does not provide online leaderboards or cross-device statistics synchronization.

Data on your device may be included in device backups according to your Apple settings. Any backup services are governed by Apple's policies and your choices.

2. Apple and in-app purchases

Moon Mice offers optional one-time cosmetic purchases through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles the purchase and billing process. The app reads verified transaction and entitlement information to unlock eligible cosmetics and restore purchases.

We do not receive your payment-card details, Apple Account password, or Apple ID from this process, and we do not send StoreKit transactions to our own backend. Apple may process account, payment, diagnostic, or other information under its own terms and privacy policy. Apple's handling is separate from the game's local data storage.

3. When you contact support

If you contact us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any information or attachments you voluntarily provide. We use this information to respond, investigate an issue, provide support, and handle privacy requests.

Please share only what is needed. Do not send passwords, full payment details, or Apple verification codes. Support correspondence is handled through our email service provider, not through an in-app analytics system.

4. Visiting this website

This website is hosted on Netlify. Loading a page requires the hosting service to process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request timing to deliver and protect the website. See Netlify's privacy policy for information about its processing.

We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts, third-party fonts, or nonessential cookies to these pages. Links to Apple, Simple Habit Tracker, or other external websites are governed by the destination's own policies. This Moon Mice policy does not replace Simple Habit Tracker's privacy policy.

5. Sharing, retention, and security

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information voluntarily sent to support may be processed by service providers needed to operate email and support, or disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.

Local app data stays on your device until removed through your device's controls, replaced, or deleted with the app, subject to any backups. We retain support correspondence only as reasonably needed to address the request, maintain relevant support records, and meet applicable legal obligations. Website infrastructure may retain technical logs under the hosting provider's practices.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No storage system or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Your choices and privacy requests

You can change sound and cosmetic preferences in the app. Deleting the app normally removes its local data; offloading the app or keeping backups may retain data. Apple manages purchase history separately, so deleting the app does not erase your App Store purchases or automatically refund them.

You may contact us about personal information you have provided to support and request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law and retention obligations. Because we do not receive your local game records, we cannot access or delete those records remotely. Use your device and backup settings to manage them.

7. Children's privacy

The game does not require users to submit personal information and does not contain chat, public profiles, or advertising. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through gameplay. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through support, contact us so we can address it. Parents and guardians can use Apple's device and purchase controls to manage access and purchases.

8. Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy when features or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
